The all-new Sea Ray SLX 260 OB is an important boat for several reasons — one of which is that it was designed by an all-woman team. Another is the options come in functionality “bundles,” much like we see in some automobile brands. With this new boat, Sea Ray takes aim at the upmarket segment of the bowrider class. More...
The new Fairline Squadron 68 is sized for an owner/operator. Her five-blade props had plenty of bite for maneuvering around the docks. A light touch on the thrusters was all that was needed to maintain control. We tested the Fairline Squadron 68 with the standard twin 1,150-hp CAT C-18s, topping out at 30 knots. There was no “best cruise” because her range increased linearly as Capt. Steve reduced the throttle. At 23.3 knots, she was tuning 2000 RPM for a range of 267 nautical miles. At 10 knots, a comfortable delivery speed, she can cover 715 nautical miles. But, perhaps the most important aspect of the new Squadron 68 is her world-class fit and finish inside. Fairline has upped its game. Watch our videos and you’ll see what we mean. More...

When a boat is dead in the water due to a breakdown, it turns with its starboard or port towards the weather and is carried away faster from the sea by the blowing wind and waves. One of the best ways to deal with this situation offshore in deep water is to deploy a floating anchor. More...
Here is a 2002 Doral 330. This boat has experienced little depreciation recently and many models have risen in value due to demand. It was an outstanding boat in its day but sadly, the company is no longer in business.
Last summer there was tremendous interest in buying a boat to have fun in the restricted world of COVID-19. People hauled boats to the end of their driveways with “For Sale” signs. Sailboats and cabin cruisers appeared on Craigslist and it sounds like most were sold to new boaters. But are they happy owners now? More...
Seven people were rescued by the Coast Guard last weekend after the 143’ (43.58 m) yacht they were on became disabled more than 20 miles off the Washington coast.
