Four Winns 36’ Catamaran Prototype Debuts at Cannes

In a radical departure for the Four Winns brand, its parent company Groupe Beneteau, has created for it a prototype of a 36’ (11 m) catamaran that is intended as a dayboat/weekender, that also could have longer legs. With a beam said to be over 14’ (4.26 m), she has a remarkable amount of space on the main deck for entertaining and watersports.

The prototype of the TH36 was introduced to us at the Cannes Yachting Festival in early September by the company’s product manager for Wellcraft and Four Winns, Martin Meyer. This boat was built in Tunisia. We are told that the company plans to introduce the TH36 to the American Market in the Spring of 2023.

Bow Seating, Catamaran, Four Winns

The bow seating area is huge, and with the addition of a table will be a popular place for guests and family to have cocktails or lunch. A sun awning will be available.

The TH36 is set up as strictly a cruising cat, and it is clear that the model is targeting a fast-growing market that has been opening up during the last couple of years by other brands that have been successful in the U.S. She sleeps 4 in two en suite cabins, and has a number of creative features. It’s not hard to imagine its helm being enclosed in isinglass under the hard top for three-season cruising. She will be powered by twin 300 or 350 outboards. See the video.
