The 1,095’ (333.76 m) container ship, Ever Forward, that ran aground just north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on March 13 was freed on Easter Sunday. She was carrying 5,000 containers and late last week, the ship’s owner, Evergreen, had decided to start off-loading some of them to help lighten the load on the vessel.
