Pathfinder packs the features anglers want into the 20’6” (6.25 m) 2005 TRS. The company says she has a higher freeboard than others in class and it makes the 2005 TRS more amenable to running in bigger water. She has raised casting decks, integrated aft jump seats and the console has front access to make it easier to get to tackle and gear storage inside. If you would like Capt. We think the Fairline F//Line 33 is one of the best-looking dayboats in class and she’s practical as well. Capt. Steve calls her “pure fun” to drive and said she glides through the water like a figure skater across the ice. “She had a gentle, forgiving nature and the F//Line 33 held her line through sharp turns, bleeding off only minimal speed,” according to the good captain. When coming on plane, she stays flat. Fairline offers her with sterndrives or outboards. More...
With the Fountaine-Pajot Power 67, the Berret-Racopeau Yacht Design team sought to take full advantage of the catamaran’s 64’6” (19.69 m) overall length and 32’3” (9.84 m) beam. She’s available in two layouts, Lounge Maestro with the galley on the same level as the owner’s stateroom and three en suites. Classic Maestro has the galley on the main deck with a fourth cabin added below. She’s flexible enough to entertain a large cocktail party at the yacht club one day and head out for an extended cruise with the owner’s family the next day. More...
The Palm Beach 50 Fly is a luxurious motoryacht with Downeast inspirations. Her flying bridge and cockpit offer open-air gathering areas. An owner can follow the current trend of having the galley on the main deck where it can easily serve guests in the cockpit or salon. There’s an aft bulkhead window that opens to the cockpit and the Silestone counter becomes a serving area. More...
The Pure Watercraft 25kW electric outboard motor with power tilt/trim is sold as a package with deep cycle battery packs and charge system.
This seems as good a time as any to look into how batteries work. Basically they all work the same, though the internal chemistry for storage may be different. And a note to all experts out there, this is extremely simplified. More...
Propeller pitch can affect speed, efficiency, ride and handling.
It is common knowledge that every change in propeller pitch has a direct impact on the performance of a boat. We also know that each inch of the pitch can raise or lower the rpm by 150 to 200 engine revs at WOT, but there is a lot more to it than that. More...
Powered with a Yamaha 300-hp four-stroke outboard, the Everglades 235CC has fishing amenities to satisfy most anglers and enough seating to please the whole family. Many standard features are included on this boat and details are often taken to the next level. Digital steering and a deep-V hull make running this boat across chop at 40 mph remarkably comfortable compared to some other boats of this size. A well-thought-out and executed boat can be had with a membership in the Sovereign Boat Club. Check out all of this boat’s features here...
