She is reported to have cost more than $290,000,000 and was extended by 59’ (18 m) in-build to ensure she was larger than the 126.2-m Octopus, belonging to Microsoft’s co-founder, Paul Allen. She accommodates 16 guests and 45 crew.
BlueNav electric retractable pods can mount on the transom or within the hull to produce silent, emission-free power. Joystick control allows functioning as bow and stern thrusters or GPS position-holding motors. The company says each produces the equivalent of 25 hp in thrust.
