Robalo had a good run with its R300, but even successful models need to be updated and replaced. The R302 has a wider, longer T-top, an all-tempered glass windshield with side panels and a redesigned helm console for current electronics. Her bow seating area has a new plan that provides more family-friendly seating and converts easily for fishing. The head compartment was upgraded with a door built into the seat on the front of the console. This design is used on several Robalo models.
