The Boston Whaler 420 Outrage 50th Anniversary package takes things up a notch when it comes to premium features and treatments. It starts with finishing the underside of the hardtop and the Mercury outboards to match the hullsides. The customization continues with upgrades to the Sea Gray exterior upholstery with textured ridges and stitching, a teak accent package and a black hardtop frame. The result is a boat that looks as good as she rides and of course, she’s still unsinkable. More...
It’s rare that an experienced cruiser has the opportunity to build a boat exactly for the way he wants to use it. That’s what Andrew Cilla got to do when he collaborated with designer Michael Peters on the Outback Yachts 50 that was introduced last spring. Using a philosophy that “form follows function,” Cilla and Peters made the 56’3” (17.15 m) Outback 50 with an expansive aft deck to carry whatever toys an owner wants to bring aboard. The boat is also available in three main deck layouts and can be arranged to sleep up to six below. More...

Car navigation has never been so easy since the invention of GPS systems. Just feed in the zip code and the system knows where you are, where you want to go and it comes up with a suitable route. Why not do the same with our chartplotters? To start with, there is a considerable difference between navigating on land and navigating at sea. More...
