Average Price of Pre-Owned Boats Revealed

At the International Yacht Brokers Association meeting this Thursday in Sarasota, FL, it was announced that its member brokers sold 991 pre-owned yachts in the previous 90 days. The sale prices of those boats totaled over $3.6 billion. The average price of a yacht sold was $388,000, it was said.

At the meeting, Paul Flannery, Chief Operating Officer of IYBA, said brokers in his organization sell 80% of the pre-owned yachts sold in Florida, 50% of them sold in the U.S., and 20% of the pre-owned yachts sold worldwide.
