The Flagship Crossover

Formula 500 SSC

YEAR-ROUND OPEN BOW This crossover's strength is maximizing her 14'6" beam with a single-level layout from stern to bow. Formula uses a polished Axalta paint finish, not standard gelcoat, for superior luster and durability. She stays on plane down to 15.9 knots (18.3 MPH) and includes a standard Seakeeper 9 gyro. Below, she features a queen aft berth and 6'7" headroom, adding serious overnighting to a day boat platform.

Cup Holder & Power Source

SeaSocket

30 AMP DRINK Forget those tacky LED rings—this is actual tech. We break down the AquaAmp SeaSocket, a cup holder that delivers 30 amps of 12V power. The kicker: it only goes live when it detects a compatible plug using NFC. Drop a metallic can inside? Nothing happens. This cleans up the helm and keeps high-power accessories right where they need to be, safely.

Practice Question - Answer

C. Need not show any lights

Under 33 CFR 83.30 (Rule 30) of the Inland Navigation Rules, a vessel of less than 20 meters in length is not required to exhibit anchor lights or shapes when at anchor in a "special anchorage area" designated by the Secretary of Transportation (or the relevant authority). These areas are specifically carved out to allow smaller recreational vessels to rest without the battery drain or light pollution of constant anchoring lights, provided they are in the designated zone.
