BRANCUSI GOES TO SEA The SolarisPower 44 Open is like a powered sculpture on the water, to our nautical eye. She's all about graceful, flowing lines and elegant, yet robust construction from stem to stern. When it comes to building a boat of sheer beauty, the Italians are hard to beat, and Solaris Power shows her compatriots the way. Beneath that pretty face is a quality build executed by perfectionists. Riva, move over.
STEPPING FORWARD Boston Whaler introduces WhalerStep™ on the new 290 and 330 Outrage, using a patented T-step hull to reduce drag and increase speed and efficiency. The result is a flatter running angle, less bow rise, and better visibility, while maintaining the predictable handling and control.
COCKPIT COMES FIRST Hanover’s 387, their top seller in Brazil, mixes open-deck entertaining with overnight capability. The hardtop can close off the cockpit for climate control, while a beach club wing expands deck space at anchor. Twin Mercury outboards with joystick piloting round out a setup aimed at easy handling.
OPEN THE SIDES This nearly new 2025 Saxdor 400 GTO, located in Pompano Beach, FL, centers on deck space that expands at rest. Side terraces drop to extend the beam, while the wheelhouse stays in the shade. The brand was recently bought by MasterCraft for $130 million, which means more dealers all over the country will be selling this brand, with service yards to back up owners in the aftermarket.
MONTHS TO WEEKS Sharrow props have been hard to get, not because of demand but because of how they’re made. Recently, all of that changed. A new manufacturing partnership with Ford Motors cuts production time from months to about two weeks, which could finally clear the backlog and change availability going into the season.
REBUILT FROM SCRATCH Argo 3 is a full rebuild of the navigation app, not a patch. The new base map pulls from NOAA, CHS, and the Army Corps of Engineers, and the whole thing runs noticeably faster. Wind, rain, and lightning now overlay directly on the chart.
